An Ocicat can be trained like a dog, and some even enjoy swimming. Ocicats are extremely friendly and sociable. This breed does very well with children, strangers, and other family pets. Ocicats need to be with their people and have plenty of human attention.

Ocicat Trivia: The Ocicat is the only completely domestic cat bred to look like wild spotted cats. The Ocicat resembles the Ocelot, hence its name. The Ocicat is partially descended from the Abyssinian. The Ocicat is partially descended from the Siamese.
