     I am so thankful for Rescue Me and for potential adopters!!!! They saved our two cats, Tiger and Jasmine. It is a burden lifted, and I won't feel guilty because they are going to a great home. We are having to move to a rental with a two pet limit and we had four cats. Now they are going to a great home thanks to Rescue Me and the loving people that are adopting them. Travel was involved to get them to their new owners. It is all worth it!!!!

     After trying unsuccessfully to find the owner of this beautiful cat, we posted him on Rescue Me. I received four inquiries in the short time the post was up. We adopted him out to a wonderful family just one day after we posted. It was so easy--I wish I had known about the site sooner! I will definitely use it again, as my home seems to be a magnet for stray cats!

     After several emails with the owner we decided to take the two hour drive to adopt an Ocicat named Fancy for our daughter. We were so very disappointed to find out that she is NOT an Ocicat at all, but a Tortoise Shell. Fancy and her 'brother' were in desperate need of a home, though, so we adopted both. After getting over the initial disappointment of not finding what we've been searching for for several years now, and seeing how much our daughter really loves them, we are happy with our new family members. Thank you, Rescue Me.

     I got three calls the day I posted 'Kitten' on Rescue Me. I found a wonderful cat lover who had owned an Ocicat before. We talked on the phone and emailed each other several times and decided it was a PURRFECT match! She has stayed in touch with me and sends pics, 'Kitten' is thriving and healthy and has put on some weight and her coat is beautiful again. She bonded immediately to her new owner and they are very close now. Kitten has lost her fear and anxiety and stress, and in her pictures she looks so happy, calm and content. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. She is treated like the princess she is. Even her former owner who passed away, didn't treat her this well. I am so relieved she found a wonderful, forever home. I was worried it might be difficult to place an adult cat when there are so many out there without homes. All I can say is thank you so much!! Kitten thanks you too. Couldn't have asked for a better ending to a sad story. Keep up the great work, there is such an urgent need for groups like this.

     We found our seven-year-old Ocicat, Bandit, a wonderful home shortly after signing up with Rescue Me. We appreciated the opportunity to interview prospective owners via email, telephone, and in the last case, in person. Thank you very much for your excellent venue. Denny

     I had been trying to re-home our cat for some time. We had posted on many sites, including Craigslist and Google classifieds. The parties who had contacted us from those sites were not credible or were not serious. I was beginning to feel like we would never find a home for our cat and couldn't believe how difficult it was for such a beautiful cat. We contacted all the local shelters, but they were not taking anymore cats. One of the shelters I contacted suggested I place our cat on a breed specific site...which lead me to your site. All of the individual's that contacted me were serious adopters and all very credible. It's never an easy task to re-home a pet...but your site lead us to another family who had a need for a wonderful Ocicat. It's a perfect match and all parties are happy. Thank you. Nicolette
